Linn Majik 4100 Power Amplifier

A very nearly mint example of Linn's Majik 4100 four-channel x 100 watt “Chakra” digital power amplifier. This unit is currently configured with optional "Aktiv" cards for the Ninka speaker system, but we will be happy to remove the Aktiv cards and set it up for passive use with any speaker if that is your preference....no charge for this service. This piece is a store demo unit, in near-mint condition, with no scuffs scrapes, scratches, or blemishes. It has fewer than 50 hours of use, but due to age, does not have any remaining factory warranty.....hence the discounted price. Originally $4,110 w/Aktiv cards.

Audio Research VT100 Mk III Tube Amplifier

Jon's former VT100 Mk III, recently traded-in by the second owner on a Ref 110. Excellent condition, recently brought up to factory spec and sounds great. Amp uses (8) 6550C and (4) 6H30 tubes to provide 100 watts per channel. Last and best of the VT100 amps. Bob gives this amp a clean bill of health and expects long tube life.

Linn Majik CD Player

A very nice, virtually un-played, silver demo model of the Linn Majik CD player. Even though it has less than 50 hours of use, there is no remaining factory warranty due to age. It’s been on static display for years, so it has a couple of minor surface blemishes on the top cover (which we could not make show up in the photo) and thus the discounted price. If you’re after great sound, rather than a museum piece, this is a terrific deal. Originally $3,500.

Linn UniDisk 1.1 Universal Disc Player

The critical accolades for the UniDisk 1.1 were widespread and enthusiastic. Stereophile called it “the smoothest sounding SACD player yet” and “as good a CD player as exists on this planet” and we quite agree. This lightly used, and near-mint piece, was recently traded-in by one of our analog-centric customers who just wasn’t getting enough use out of it.
